Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp, formerly Iron South Mining Corp, is a Canada-based iron exploration company. It is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring and evaluating natural resource properties and either joint venturing or developing these properties further or disposing of them when the evaluation is completed. Its material mineral property interests are located in the Argentina. It owns interest in the Fierro iron ore project (Fierro Project), which is an approximately 74,800 hectare project. The Fierro Project is adjacent to the producing Minera Sierra Grande iron mine. At the Minera Sierra Grande mine, the iron ore consists of oolitic magnetite and hematite iron formation that occurs within the Silurian Sierra Grande Formation. The Fierro Project covers the mapped extensions of the Minera Sierra Grande mine horizon, including an approximately 60 kilometers strike extent of the Sierra Grande Formation to the north and east of the mine.
