CGRE Description The pools have received exemptive relief from the Canadian securities regulatory authorities to permit them to investin certain exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”) which utilize leverage in an attempt to magnify returns by either a multipleor an inverse multiple of a specified widely quoted market index (“Leveraged ETFs”), and certain ETFs that seek toprovide daily results that replicate the daily performance of gold or the value of a specified derivative, the underlyinginterest of which is gold on an unlevered basis, by a multiple of 200% (“Leveraged Gold ETFs”).
