Outcrop Gold Corp., an exploration stage company, engages in the identification, acquisition, development, exploration, and evaluation of mineral properties in the United States and Colombia. It primarily explores for gold and copper deposits. The company's exploration projects in Colombia include the Antares project covering 10,500 hectares located in the Antioquia Batholith; the Argelia project covering 5,400 hectares within the Antioquia department; the Mallama project comprising two titles totaling 9,036 hectares in the Nariño department located to the west of the city of Pasto; and the Oribella project comprising approximately 10,700 hectares located in Oribella within the department of Antioquia. It also holds interest in the Kuntur project that covers an area of approximately 47,664 hectares located within the department of Antioquia, Colombia; and Lyra project comprising approximately 52,482 hectares situated within the department of Antioquia, Colombia. In addition, Miranda Gold Corp. has an option to acquire 100% interests in the Cauca project covering 1,808 hectares situated in the Miocene-age mineral belt of southern Colombia. The company was formerly known as Miranda Gold Corp. and changed its name to Outcrop Gold Corp. in February 2019. Outcrop Gold Corp. was founded in 1993 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
