Niocan Inc. is a Canada-based development-stage company. The Company is engaged in the process of exploring and evaluating its mineral properties and projects. The Company has mineral exploration and development properties in the province of Quebec. In addition, it holds a niobium property in Oka, Quebec (Oka Niobium Project). The Company's mining properties and exploration assets include Oka property and the Great Whale Iron property. The Oka Niobium Property is located approximately 50 kilometers north-west of Montreal and it is made up of approximately 50 claims covering over 1,60 acres and surface rights of over 230 acres. The Oka project involves the development of a mining complex based on an underground mine, a concentrator and a converter for the production of Ferro niobium. The Company also has interest in the iron property of Great Whale Iron property, which comprises approximately three mineral prospects of magnetite ore and is located to south of the Great Whale River.
