Los Andes Copper Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral right interests and the development of a hydroelectric project in Chile. It operates through three segments: mineral exploration, hydroelectric project and corporate. Its projects include Vizachitas Project and Rocin River Hydrolectric Project. Its property includes a porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit that offers an open-pit operation in an area of low elevation, including water and power in central Chile. The Vizcachitas porphyry copper-molybdenum project is located 120 kilometers north of Santiago, Region V, Chile. The Rocin River Hydrolectric Project is focused on developing a run-of-river hydroelectric power generation facility on the Rocin River. The project comprises approximately 150 diamond drill holes totaling over 40,380 meters of drilling. The Company has not generated any revenues.
