Minera Alamos Inc. is a junior mining exploration company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties located in Mexico and the United States. The Company operates in mineral exploration segment. The Company has presence in Canada and Mexico. The Company holds an interest in a mining property, Los Verdes, which is a molybdenum-copper property located in the State of Sonora, Mexico. The Company’s property is situated approximately 200 kilometers east-southeast of Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora and over 190 kilometers northeast of Ciudad Obregon. The Company's Los Verdes property is made up of approximately 20 mining concessions totaling over 7,030 hectares, including the North deposit property. The Company also holds interest in the La Fortuna Gold Project, which is located in the northwestern corner of the State of Durango, Mexico, over 70 kilometers northeast of the city of Culiacan, Sinaloa.
