The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid High Yield Total Return Index hedged in CAD. The fund will invest primarily in the shares of a U.S. iShares fund that seeks to replicate the index and to hedge any resulting U.S. dollar currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. It intends to invest in the shares of the iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond Fund. The fund will utilize currency forwards and other derivative instruments to employ the currency hedging strategy.
