Grande Portage Resources Ltd. is an exploration-stage company. The Company's principal business activities are the exploration for and development of natural resource properties, namely gold in Alaska and British Columbia. It holds approximately 100% interest in the Herbert gold property. The Herbert gold property consists of over 91 mining claims, and is located approximately 25 kilometers north of Juneau, Alaska. The Herbert Gold property has a National Instrument (NI) 43-101 technical report completed with indicated resources of over 821,100 tons containing approximately 182,400 ounces of gold at over 6.91 grams per ton, and inferred resources of approximately 51,600 tons containing over 12,800 ounces of gold at approximately 7.73 grams per ton. It is also engaged in gold-copper mineral exploration on its Merry Widow Project site located on the east slope of Merry Widow Mountain in the Nanaimo Mining Division, over 40 kilometers southwest of Port McNeill on Vancouver Island.
