Sierra Metals Inc. is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is focused on the production, exploration and development of precious and base metals in Peru and Mexico. The Company's segments are Peru and Mexico. It has over three producing mining properties. Its Peruvian Operation (Peru) includes the Yauricocha Mine, its near-mine concessions, and exploration and early-stage properties. Its Mexican Operation (Mexico) includes the Bolivar and Cusi mines, their near-mine concessions, and exploration and early-stage properties. The Yauricocha Mine is located in western central Peru in the Yauyos province, approximately 10 kilometers west of the Continental Divide. The Bolivar Mine is a contiguous portion of the 15,220-hectare Bolivar Property land package within the municipality of Urique, in the Piedras Verdes mining district of Chihuahua State, Mexico. The Cusi Mine is located in Chihuahua State, Mexico and includes approximately 70 concessions covering over 11,980 hectares.
