Prime Dividend Corp. is a mutual fund company. The Company's investment objective is to invest primarily in a portfolio of common shares. The Company may also invest till approximately 20% of its Net Asset Value in equity securities of issuers in the financial services or utilities sectors in Canada or the United States. The Company offers two types of shares: Preferred Shares and Class A Shares. The investment objectives with respect to the Preferred shares is to provide holders of Preferred Shares with cumulative floating rate monthly cash dividends at a rate per annum equal to the prevailing Canadian prime rate plus 0.75%, with a minimum annual rate of 5% and a maximum annual rate of 7% based on the original issue price ($10) of the Preferred shares. The Company invests in a range of sectors, which include banks, life insurance companies, investment management companies, and utilities and other sectors. Quadravest Capital Management Inc. is the investment manager for the Company.
