iShares Diversified Monthly Income Fund (the Fund), formerly iShares CDN S&P/TSX Income Trust Index Fund, seeks to provide monthly cash distribution for long-term capital growth by investing primarily in Canadian iShares Funds. The Fund invests in a portfolio that is a diversified representation of income-bearing asset classes, including, but not limited to, common equities, fixed income securities and real estate investment trusts. The Funds asset classes include credit securities, long term maturity fixed income securities, dividend-paying equities and property investments. The Fund is managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited.

XSC Description The investment seeks to generate income for Unitholders by investing primarily in securities of one or more iShares ETFs that provide exposure to Canadian and international fixed income securities, including government bonds, investment grade corporate bonds, high yield securities, emerging market debt and other types of fixed income investments, while adhering to certain portfolio constraints upon rebalancing. In seeking to generate income, the fund will, upon rebalancing, generally: (i) limit its total exposure to high yield securities to 25% of its portfolio.
