iShares S&P/TSX Capped Financials Index Fund, formerly iShares CDN S&P/TSX Capped Financials Index Fund, seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX Capped Financials Index (the Index) through investments in the constituent issuers of such Index. The Index consists of securities of Canadian financial sector issuers listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), selected by Standard & Poor’s (S&P) using its industrial classifications and guidelines for evaluating issuer capitalization, liquidity and fundamentals. The Index includes stocks belonging to the S&P/TSX Financial industry sector classification, with the weight of any one company capped at 25% of the market capitalization of the Index. The Index is provided by S&P. The Fund is managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited.

It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in dividend paying stocks of companies. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Solactive Canadian Utility Services High Dividend Index, by using full replication technique.
