The ETF invests in equity securities of the largest and most liquid Canadian issuers based on proprietary research generated by Morningstar, and is designed to provide diversified exposure to Canadian issuers which have demonstrated, among other things, positive momentum in earnings and price.

XMA Description iShares S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index Fund, formerly iShares CDN S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index Fund, seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index (the Index) through investments in the constituent issuers of such Index. The Index is a constrained market capitalization-weighted index that consists of the securities of Canadian materials sector issuers listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), selected by S&P using its industrial classifications and guidelines for evaluating issuer capitalization, liquidity and fundamentals. In the Index, the weight of any one company, in terms of market capitalization, is limited to 25%. The Fund is managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited.
