It invests directly, through derivatives and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across energy, oil, gas and consumable fuels, oil and gas refining and marketing, petroleum and petroleum products, crude petroleum and natural gas sectors. The fund uses derivatives such as options to create its portfolio. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Solactive Equal Weight Canada Oil & Gas Index. Horizons Enhanced Canadian Oil and Gas Equity Covered Call ETF was formed on October 10, 2023 and is domiciled in Canada.
