It invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund primarily invests in the US dollar denominated, investment grade inflation protected public obligations of the U.S. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays U.S. Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) 0-5 Years Index (Series-L), by using representative sampling technique. iShares Trust - iShares 0-5 Year TIPS Bond ETF was formed on December 1, 2010 and is domiciled in the United States.
