Thor Explorations Ltd, formerly Thor Explorations Ltd. N.P.L., is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties located in Senegal and Burkina Faso. It focuses on early-stage gold exploration projects located in West Africa. It operates in exploration of mineral resource properties segment. It holds an interest in the Douta Gold Project, which consists of an early-stage gold exploration license located in southeastern Senegal, over 700 kilometers east of Dakar. It holds an interest in over two contiguous Bongui and Legue gold permits covering an area of over 230 square kilometers, and an interest in the Ouere gold permit, covering an area of over 240 square kilometers. Over three Burkina Faso permits consist of the Central Hounde Project, which is located in the Hounde belt, covering over 260 kilometers southwest of the capital Ouagadougou, in western Burkina Faso.
