Sarama Resources Ltd. is an exploration-stage company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. The Company's principal business objective is to explore for and develop gold deposits in West Africa. It has exploration landholdings in Burkina Faso, Liberia and Mali. Its Burkina Faso properties cover an area of approximately 2,775 square kilometers; Liberia properties cover an area of over 780 square kilometers, and Mali properties cover an area of approximately 110 square kilometers. Its focuses on South Hounde Project, which is situated in southwest Burkina Faso near the borders of Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire and south-west of the national capital of Ouagadougou. The South Hounde Project is located in the Hounde Belt, which hosts the Mana Gold Mine and Hounde Gold Project. The Tankoro property is part of its South Hounde Project. The Company has interests, both directly and indirectly, covering a total area of over 2,800 square kilometers in area.
