Plata Latina Minerals Corporation is engaged in mineral exploration, principally in the Mexican Silver Belt in the states of Guanajuato, Aguascalientes and Jalisco, Mexico. The Company is focused on the exploration of its Naranjillo Property (Naranjillo), which is situated in Guanajuato, Mexico. It operates in the mining segment. Naranjillo consists of over four government mineral exploration concessions, including La Sibila, La Sibila I, La Sibila II and La Sibila III, totaling an area of approximately 20,655 hectares. The Company, through its subsidiary, Plaminco S.A. de C.V. (Plaminco), holds its interest in the Naranjillo Property, the Vaquerias Property and over two other properties in the Mexican Silver Belt. The Vaquerias license covers over 100 hectares and various old silver mines. It has mineral exploration interests in various early-stage exploration concessions, including La Joya Project and Palo Alto Project. It has operations in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
