Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is a Canada-based consumer protein company. The Company operates through two segments: the Meat Products Group and the Agribusiness Group. The Meat Products Group segment includes prepared meats, lunch kits snacks, and fresh pork and poultry products sold under Canadian brands, such as Maple Leaf, Maple Leaf Prime, Maple Leaf Natural Selections, Schneiders, Schneiders Country Naturals, Mina and Devour. The Company's products include processed chicken products, such as fully cooked chicken breasts and wings, processed turkey products, such as fully cooked turkey breast roasts, specialty sausage and deli products. The Agribusiness Group manages and produces live hogs, including providing its own hog feed. The Agribusiness Group conducts its business under the operating division Maple Leaf Agri-Farms. Maple Leaf Agri-Farms is a hog production operation with approximately 200 production locations in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. It also owns five feed mills in Manitoba.
