JFT Strategies Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end investment trust. The Fund's investment objective is to maximize return on investment to holders of units while seeking to mitigate market risk and volatility by investing in a managed portfolio of long and short positions in any one or a combination of equities, debt securities or other securities. The Fund may make investments in high yield securities that are not investment grade, and also may invest in bonds or other fixed income securities. It will not invest in or hold any investment other than cash, cash equivalents, securities or positions purchased or entered into in accordance with the Fund's investment strategy, or securities issued in respect of such securities. The Fund will not invest more than 15% of the net assets of the Fund in securities of any single issuer. The Fund's manager is First Asset Investment Management Inc. The Fund's portfolio is managed by Timelo Investment Management Inc.
