Tantalus Systems Holding Inc. develops and delivers purpose-built smart grid solutions for public power and electric cooperative utilities across North America and the Caribbean Basin. The company offers Tantalus Utility Network (TUNet), a smart grid technology that enables a utility to monitor, control, and respond to events across its distribution network; and real-time information and automation tools, which helps utilities to enhance the reliability and power quality of their distribution system from substation to transformers. It also provides a platform that delivers a unified communications system to monitor and control electric, water, gas, steam, and propane resources; ERT meters; fiber-enabled smart meters; and tantalus load management system, a software application, which provides load control event scheduling and execution, event performance monitoring and reporting, and participant and device management. In addition, the company offers 2-way advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) solutions; TUNet Grid Reliability Analytics; gateways and routers; TRULight Intelligence Lighting Control and Management System that controls lighting for roadway and decorative lighting with optional sensor attachments; and TUNet Insight, a visualization software platform that allows utilities to fully monitor and control the TUNet platform.
