Cassiar Gold Corporation (formerly Margaux Resources Limited) is a Canadian mineral acquisition and exploration company focused on gold exploration in British Columbia. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Cassiar Gold Corp. was founded on August 5, 2009. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of China Minerals Mining Corporation (successor of Hawthorne Gold Corp., predecessor of Wildsky Resources) until Margaux Resources Ltd acquired 100% interest of the company in 2019.Cassiar Gold Corp. is engaged in exploring and developing its two mineral claims in Northern and Southern British Columbia. The company’s key asset, Cassiar Gold Property, is an advanced stage orogenic gold project with historic production of at least 350,000 oz gold since the early 1930s. The company’s other asset, Sheep Creek Gold District has produced almost 750,000 oz gold and was considered the third largest past-producing orogenic gold district in British Columbia.In 2020, Cassiar Gold Corp. became a publicly traded company, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange Venture (TSX-V) under the ticker GLDC and the OTCQB Venture Market (OTCQB) under the symbol CGLCF.
