Eclipse Residential Mortgage Investment Corporation (the Fund) is a non-redeemable investment fund, and invests and reinvests its assets in mortgages. The Fund's investment objectives are to acquire and maintain a mortgage portfolio primarily consisting of single-family residential mortgage investments that seeks to preserve capital and to generate income to pay monthly distributions to the Class A shareholders. The Fund invests in single-family residential mortgages. It may also invest in commercial mortgages and residential construction mortgages, subject to a limit of approximately 20% of the principal amount of the Fund's portfolio. The portfolio will consist of a significant number of mortgages, which provides diversification. The Fund targets a portfolio primarily consisting of junior tranches of uninsured first mortgages and insured mortgages with open terms, insured six-month convertible mortgages and second charge mortgages. Brompton Funds Limited is the manager of the Fund.
