Athabasca Minerals Inc. is a Canada-based resource company. The Company specializes in developing, producing and exploring for aggregates and industrial minerals in Alberta. It is engaged in supplying aggregate products to various sectors in the Alberta market, which includes supplying aggregates to new and existing oil sands projects, as well as infrastructure projects. It manages the Susan Lake Gravel Pit on behalf of the Government of Alberta. Its services include exploration and identification of minerals, clearing and topsoil stripping, allocation of pit areas to specific users, scaling of material and general administration of the pit. The Susan Lake aggregate operation is located over 85 kilometers north of Fort McMurray and it is approximately 2,379.5 hectares in size. Its exploration and development projects include Firebag Silica Sand Project, Richardson Project and Pelican Hill Pit. Its mineral properties include Birch Mountain Project, Boyle Project and Dover Project.
